Ten things I loved about Phoenix this past weekend

1. A NEW CHILL SPOT  The VIG.

Great vibe, awesome DJ  lounge tunes, and a neighborhood cat that owns the spot. The highlight this weekend?  The temperature was 70 and with added heat lamps who can complain?

2. ORANGE TREES.

Abundant everywhere and so mature, I ask myself why I didn’t taste one?photo (43)

3. DINING OUT.

Always a top priority for me when travelling.  Where did we go ?

The Mission, outstanding latin cuisine, picture below,

Postino Cafe, always a favorite with $5.00 wines and bruschetta boards, great relaxed atmosphere,

St Francis,  I continually order the same entree-  ROASTED SALMON SUPERFOOD, quinoa, spinach, radish, cucumber, avocado, sweet chile vinaigrette

My husband always dominates the table.photo (42)

5. PHOENIX ART MUSEUM.

Great museum and Docent lead tours at 12, 1, and 2 pm.  Information you couldn’t get on your own. Don’t go to a museum without a docent tour!!!! 023
