Ten things I loved about Phoenix this past weekend

1. A NEW CHILL SPOT  The VIG.

Great vibe, awesome DJ  lounge tunes, and a neighborhood cat that owns the spot. The highlight this weekend?  The temperature was 70 and with added heat lamps who can complain?

2. ORANGE TREES.

Abundant everywhere and so mature, I ask myself why I didn’t taste one?photo (43)

3. DINING OUT.

Always a top priority for me when travelling.  Where did we go ?

The Mission, outstanding latin cuisine, picture below,

Postino Cafe, always a favorite with $5.00 wines and bruschetta boards, great relaxed atmosphere,

St Francis,  I continually order the same entree-  ROASTED SALMON SUPERFOOD, quinoa, spinach, radish, cucumber, avocado, sweet chile vinaigrette

5. PHOENIX ART MUSEUM.

Great museum and Docent lead tours at 12, 1, and 2 pm.  Information you couldn’t get on your own. Don’t go to a museum without a docent tour!!!! 023

  2. Glad to see all the beautiful photos, Monica. Your purchases were right on in the fashion department. I will have to wear my vintage L.L.Bean tweed jacket someday – still looks good. Phoenix has a lot to offer, no question. Someday will have to show you my little painting on a similar theme. Thanks.
