Ten Highlights about Madison and Fifth Avenue

10.  Boutiques and   9. Window Shopping

Living in Tucson we are deprived of this delight!  I enjoy Window Shopping at night when the windows “glow” .  Madison Ave was spectacular with block after block of eye window candy!FullSizeRender (7)

La Perla on MadisonIMG_4145This picture is interesting if you look at it closely.  The shoes underneath the zebra coat??? Along with reflections and facial expressions.  I took this pic because I bought a zebra coat last year at Talbot’s that looks just like this one.

5.  Walking

Yes the simple put one foot in front of the other. I enjoy walking in a big city and taking it all in,  not to mention getting your exercise without going to a gym.  One sees so much more on foot.

3.  Bergdorf Goodman’s

Pure Indulgence as I treated myself to lunch here one afternoon.  All by myself and lapping up the luxury!  These kind of treats feed my soul.

The Window Displays at Bergdorfs surpass any others–  New Yorkers are so lucky they get to see these on a daily basis.

2.  The Carlisle Hotel

Iconic for Elegance, Style and Luxury.  Also known for Woody Allen playing  Clarinet every Monday night.  I happened to be there on a Monday nite.  No Woody, but  I had a wonderful evening listening to a Jazz trio and enjoying lovely company at the bar.carlisle 1.Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Met is my favorite museum  that I have visited around the world.  This trip to New York was specifically so I could see the China Through a Looking Glass Exhibit.  It met beyond my expectations.
